Ok.. So this weekend was pretty productive! All the invites are for the most part mailed out! All my thank you notes are sent out as well! We ordered the cake! We also put the tuxes on hold! And I have a very good idea of what the food is going to be like! GFS is like the best place! If you need food for a wedding it is perfect, they have a menu making option. You take a scanner scan all the items then put it in their computer and how many people you plan on feeding and it calculates how much it will cost and how much of each item you need! It is marvelous! So I am getting excited! I still need to find someone to do the music or at least get an idea of what I want... But that is what I have for wedding plans. I just need to get through the semester of classes! 18 credit hours is kicking me in the butt!

Old friends

Have you ever walked by someone you used to know? Someone who used to be your best friend in the whole world? Someone who you told anything and everything to? It seems this happens to me a lot. I walk by and see people that I don't even say hi to anymore, even though they used to be the person who was walking with me. It is a really strange feeling to me, but I know that people are in your life at the time they are in your life for a reason. You need certain people at certain times in your life. I am definitely a firm believer of this, considering it has happened to me many times. I am thankful for those people that were there for me in the past and were or even still are my friends.

Anyway, on a completely different topic, wedding! Oh my goodness I am really feeling the pressure of planning a wedding this week. I looked at my calendar and I only have 5 weeks!! That is like almost a month away!! I am not even sure where to start! Do not get me wrong I definitely have some things done, like bridal showers, dress ordered, invitations ordered, and many other plans. The things that I still am not sure about is music, decorations, and food. (you know the hardest parts) I also hate asking people to help me! I just don't think anyone would even want to help so I hate asking. So it looks like I am pretty much on my own with my mother of course! oh and possibly Derek's help as well. I am getting some things done this week though! I am going to order the cake, mail out invitations, and a couple other small things! So hopefully I will feel much better about all of this once a few more things are finalized! Well I will keep everyone up to date so check back later for more details!
